RJI's Bio

First off thanks for visiting my site. It's my first attempt and building a web page. I hope you are enjoying it and come back often.

I started following NASCAR after the Baseball strike in 1994. I have three brother's-in-law that follow the sport and they really got me into it. My favorite driver is and always will be Dale Earnhardt. I now follow Dale Earnhardt Jr. My site started out to be about stats. Since stating up my web site I have added much more information more that stat's I now have pages about Track Directory, Birthday's , Fan Club Info. and more.

I was born in Michigan where I have lived my whole life. I was born and raised in Saginaw, where I got my Associates degree from Delta College. I'm from a large family, nine brothers and sisters. I moved to the Metro-Detroit area in August of 1999. Where I attended classes at Schoolcraft College, , and receive my MOUS (Microsoft Office Users Specialist) certificate in Microsoft Excel and Word. I currently am a Customer Service Representive for a Major Utility Company.

Buster Poindexter

My favorite Actors are Demi Moore and Jimmy Stewart. Most people may know that Jimmy Stewart was a real war hero. Check out The Jimmy Stewart Museum Webpage. My favorite Musical Artist are Billy Joel, Elton John, Marc Cohn, and Buster Poindexter. My favorite Comedian is Bill Engvall. By the way Bill Engvall is a NASCAR.

(Thanks to Jayski.com where I found the info. about The Jimmy Stewart Museum Webpage.)

My favorite movies & TV shows are:

Cash Cab: Ben Bailey host the Cash Cab on the Discovery Channel. Unsuspecting taxi passengers hail a cab and suddenly find themselves on a TV game show that takes place right in the taxi cab. Check it out Monday through Friday on The Discovery Channel.

Law & Order: I enjoy watching the Law & Order shows on NBC.

The Sixth Sense: A great movie! This is a must see. I had to go to it twice so I could see what I missed the first time. If you haven't seen it. Rent it!!!

It's A Wonderful Life: A great Christmas classic and favorite of mine. I watch it every year.

A Christmas Story: This one is a great Christmas Movie. It tells the trials of Raphie and his desire to get the Christmas gift of his dreams. A Red Ryder BB Gun.

Ghost: This movie made me a Demi Moore fan. She was great in this movie, and Whoopi Goldberg was hilarious.

Star Trek: Any Star Trek movie I am a fan of.

Life is Beautiful: This is a foreign film. I know that on the DVD version it is dubbed in English. This is a MUST see movie. It's about a man who falls in love and marries a woman and they have a child. Several years later the WW2 starts and the family is in a concentration camp. The father shields his son from what is really going on. He tells them that they are playing a game for a prize. This discription doesn't do the movie justice. It starts Roberto Benigni who won a Best Actor award for his roll. You may remember when he won. He went to the stage by walking on the chairs. Rent this movie! It's a great one.

I am very lucky to have traveled during my life time. Below are some of the pictures I have taken during my travels.
