Did you know...On March 11, Kevin Harvick's
first win on the 4th race of the season in the number 29 car. He started in the
number 5 position and finished in the number 1 position. 4/29/51 was Dale Earnhardt's
birthday.
Did
you know...that Dale Earnhardt's first car was PINK.
He wanted the car to be the same as the roof which was an
apricot color. The paint was mixed and then the car was painted. When it dried
it was pink. Dale at the time didn't have enough money to repaint it so it stayed
pink.
Did you know...That Chad Little has
a law degree.
Did you know...That in 1980, Richard Petty broke
his neck in a crash at Pocono, and didn't miss a race.
Did
you know...Stanton Barrett is a well know Hollywood stuntman who has worked
in nearly 100 movie and TV shows.
Did you know...Lee Petty
once protested a race against his son Richard Petty and won!
Did
you know...That Ryan Newman once had a high school history teacher who gave him
extra credit for winning a race.
Did you know...Dale Jarrett
once was consider pursuing a career as a Pro Golfer.

Pocono in 1991, a caution was called for a chicken on the track. NASCAR officials
investigated and found no FOWL play.

while qualifying for the Koolers 300 Michael Waltrip hit a seagull and yet still
qualified seventh. (Don't worry I wasn't going to use the Fowl play again. I don't
have that much GULL). I bet you could SEA that coming.

you know...Junior Johnson used to have a chicken for a passenger while he was
racing.
Did you know...Benny Parsons was once a cab driver in
Detroit.
Did you know...Former car owner Don Bierschwale was
a funeral director.
Did you know...That Geoffery
Bodine helped design the Bobsleigh for the USA.
He helped the US to a fourth in the two man Bobsleigh, and a Silver
& Bronze in the four men Bobsleigh. Geoffery
helped the womens Bobsleigh to a GOLD at
the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
Did
you know...Cale Yarborough at aage 17, filed a false birth Certificate with NASCAR
and drive briefley in the 1957 Southern 500 before being found out and was then
ejected from the race.

you know ...Kyle Petty won the first race he ever entered. (The 1979 ARCA Daytona
200)
Did you know...In 1967
Richard Petty on 10 consecutive races for a total of 27 wins for that season.
Did you know...Red Byron was the First Winston Cup
Champion in 1949.
